Rich in a large database, YouGov awarded the YouGov Advertising of the Year Award at the 15th edition of the Marketing Awards on May 20, 2019. Huawei wins the bet!

This is a special prize that was awarded for the first time at the 2019 edition of the Marketing Trophies celebrated by Marketing/E-marketing.fr on May 20, 2019: the YouGov Advertising Trophy of the Year. This one was given to Huawei.

Through its BrandIndex tool, YouGov studied the spots of the 10 brands whose marketing directors were selected for the Marketing Personality of the Year award: Fnac Darty, Lidl, Kinder, FFF, Boursorama Banque, Harley Davidson, Seat, Huawei, Puma and Accor. The institute used advertising memory as an indicator of measurement, after interviewing a national population (18 years and over) about the brands in several “universes” from which they have seen, read or heard advertising in the past two weeks. The analysis period is from May 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019.

It is therefore the advertising for the Huawei P30 Pro that has collected the best memorization rate. “It is necessary to create a balance between technological innovation and the creation of emotion around an object that accompanies us on a daily basis,” reacted St├ęphane Curtelin, Huawei’s Director of Marketing and Communication, at the award ceremony.
